This Foundation seeks best practices following the recommendations of the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa – IBGC) that points to the basic principles: transparency, equity, corporate responsibility, and accountability.
Due to the benefits that governance promotes in private companies, this subject has also gained space in the Third Sector as a strategic practice for expansion of reputability, thereby raising credibility of non-profit institutions.
Transparency: Make all available information on how the funds raised are being used, and what projects are promoted by the institution, publicly available to donors, possible supporters, and society in general. The reports shall be both qualitative and quantitative, to show the extent of the impact of such initiatives, following the documents below:
